Product Description
This Carbon cartridge is constructed with FDA and NSF approved activated coconut shell carbon to provide a great level of efficient filtration for applications in drinking water, reverse osmosis and aquatics. Carbon cartridges are a wide used choice for the reduction and removal of chlorine.
Supplied water travels upwards within the cartridge to ensure long contact time with the treatment media, allowing for maximum absorption. To make sure no particles escape with the water, this cartridge is supplied with an internal PP post filter.
Traditionally a Granular Activated Carbon Filter (GAC) is positioned 2nd in a 3-stage dechlorinator.
