Exceptional Service and Expertise I very rarely write reviews but I feel l wanted to share the experience I’ve had at SHOSHA KOI. They have everything you could possibly need from Start to finish and everything in between and a wonderful stock of healthy Koi, that is soon to be expanded, l believe a Japanese Koi garden pond when finished. I’ve been a Koi owner for over 20 years, but the level of knowledge, experience & expertise during my recent visits has genuinely helped me understand so much more. I have dealt with three people, all of them extremely friendly & helpful.. Each of them took the time to listen, answer my questions in detail, and explain things I had never fully understood despite years of my own experiences. Their passion for Koi and genuine desire to help customers is something that really stood out. Not one time did l feel rushed, not only were they incredibly knowledgeable, but they also made me feel comfortable asking even the simplest questions. They are far from being pushy in-fact there were things l thought l needed and they said l didn’t need to buy them at all! They all went above and beyond to ensure I left not just with the right products if at all any on one occasion, but with the right knowledge to make informed decisions for my Koi. I’ve also ordered recently over the telephone on a Thursday and it arrived the very next day! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. A huge thank you to you all at SHOSHA KOI, your advice has made a real difference, and I’ll definitely be back!

Shosha Koi are unlike any other koi dealer that I have dealt with over the years. Both Mike & Lee really looked after me when I was buying koi on their last trip to Japan which I really appreciated. Their premises are very well laid out & the range of products that they carry is extremely good & well priced. The Shosha team are always happy to help with questions, anything from koi health & nutrition to pond construction & filter upgrades. The level of customer service is also exceptionally good, with next business day delivery on many of their products. They genuinely care about both their koi & their customers.

Shosha koi, what a fantastic facility you guys have built. Great selection of koi and everything else needed to run a successful pond all under one roof. Great day out including the garden centre and excellent food in the cafe makes for a good day out. The guys at Shosha are also very helpful, one of the very best places to visit 👏

Mike and Lee source all their koi directly from Japanese breeders. They are hand picked and the results speak for themselves....koi of outstanding quality. It is worth mentioning that their quarantine procedures are second to none. Shosha also have a huge selection of dry goods, which is dispatched very quickly, often arriving the following day. However, the main reason I buy from Shosha is the excellent service given by Mike and Lee. Those guys are always happy to share their knowledge and give advice on all things koi regardless of how much money you spend and most importantly without being patronising. This makes it an all-round great experience for novice and experienced koi keepers alike. Thank you, guys. Can't wait for the next visit.

I have always had a great experience purchasing koi as well as other koi-related items from Mike and Lee at Shosha. They are both very knowledgeable and helpful and go out of their way to help. They also help out at many koi shows and sponsor the smaller shows to make them viable. Would highly recommend!

Travelled over three half hours to collect my koi and it was worth every mile what a superb koi environment very clean and well presented a wide range of dry goods and filtration the koi were superb on view and in all different prices to suit all budgets,highly recommend for any level of koi keeper to visit ! Had a shopping list of various pond fittings and koi food to order and couldn't find one place that stocked everything I needed. Someone recommended Shosha Koi and sure enough they had everything I was looking for in stock and generally on par or cheaper than other websites I'd been looking at. Messaged for advice on one product and got a helpful reply almost immediately. Ordered online and delivery came next working day from APC overnight, well packaged and with brochures for upcoming koi related events. Overall very happy with the service and pictures of their shop and koi look stunning so will be planning a trip there soon.

Superb shop, stocking everything from high quality fish at all prices to all the dry goods you could need and a lovely setting with garden centre and cafe on site. Only wish it was closer!

Having visited a few dealers over the years I have seen a variety of different set ups when it comes to koi shops, but the job Mike, Lee & Jeff have done with Shosha is standout the best by a mile. The shop is not a shop, it’s a serene and fulfilling experience with an array of incredible koi of all sizes and the prices were excellent. With the help of Mike & Jeff I took home a couple of lovely Maruyama kohaku tosai after visiting with my young daughter, and the guys not only helped us select a couple of great fish, they made the experience fun for my daughter keeping her involved at all stages so now she loves checking on her kohaku every morning at breakfast! We look forward to the next visit in the not too distant future!

Great Japanese koi supplier. Will source any fish you require personally in Japan. Decent fair prices on all fish and dry goods. Huge range of pumps, filters, koi food and treatments. Very knowledgeable on koi and products/treatments Their facility is top notch and worth a visit.

Superb koi dealership which are super helpful and friendly. The team look after the establishment and its a credit to them. The fish are always looking superb.
