This Carbon cartridge is constructed with solely activated bituminous carbon to provide a good level of efficient filtration for applications in drinking water, reverse osmosis and aquatics.
Carbon blocks are a wide used choice for the reduction and removal of chlorine. They also improve the taste and odour of drinking water. Supplied water penetrates the block from its outer surface to the core. Removed compounds are held on its surface while purified water passes through to the inside of the block.
Traditionally a Carbon Block Filter is positioned 3rd in a 3-stage dechlorinator.
